The legendary Onion Creek Golf course intertwines among the beautiful Golf Course Homes located in this highly acclaimed community. Price ranges from the 300’s to the 800’s. Families can enjoy the clubhouse with all the amenities that are designed for family entertainment of all ages.
Residential properties include condos, garden homes, townhomes, and single family residences. Onion Creek was established in the 1970’s. Many of these homes have golf course views, large shade trees, and well-manicured landscapes.
For the nature enthusiast – McKinney Falls State Park is about a 10-minute drive from Onion Creek. (See my blog about McKinney Falls below). This park has hiking and biking trails, swimming holes for the family to enjoy, camping, fishing, nature walks and more.

Onion Creek Golf Club
Residents of this highly sought after subdivision can enjoy a Private 27- hole Legendary elite golf course.
Onion Creek Golf Club was established in 1974 by Jimmie Connolly and Legendary Golfer Jimmy Demaret. This golf course is known for the “Birthplace of the Senior Tour”. In 1979 it sponsored the first “Legends of Golf".
Onion Creek Club also hosted three LPGA Tour Events and is one of the qualifying sites for the Men’s U.S. Open.

Onion Creek Club also features Tennis Courts, Fitness Center, and Club Pool.
Members can relax and splash in the sun with a Jr. Olympic Swimming Pool, and kiddie pool. There is a deck with a full-service snack bar that overlooks the golf course. Summer activities include swim lessons, drive-in movies, and splash parties.
Play Tennis or take professional Tennis lessons from award-winning staff.
The Fitness center offers group exercise programs as well as personal training (Personal training by appointment only – Please contact the director of fitness for more information).

The Onion Creek neighborhood has two parks – Edward M. Sullivan Park and the Ballybunion Park. The Sullivan Park has a basketball court, softball field, play-scapes and picnic areas.
