Things to See and Do in Fredericksburg Texas Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park Campgrounds with RV Hookups Ladybird in tx

If you are planning on a RV Camping trip to Fredericksburg be sure to reserve your spot at the Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park. This was one of the best RV parks I have visited in a while. This park has Plenty of Shade Trees, Picnic Areas & Covered Pavilions, Olympic-Sized Swimming Pool, Lighted Tennis Courts, Municipal Golf Course, and Nature Trails.

During your stay at the RV Park, you can hike the trails of the Fredericksburg Nature Center. The Nature center features streams, lakes, bird blinds and feeding area, butterfly habitat, cactus gardens and over 250 flowering plants.

Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park is located 3 miles south of Fredericksburg on State Hwy 16, just minutes from downtown where you can enjoy the shopping for Antiques, Quilts, Artwork, Fine Jewelry, Leather Furniture, Handmade Soaps, Candles, and more. Enjoy German Cuisine, Texas Famous Barbeque, or Southwestern menus. You can even stop at the local tavern for a tall glass of German Beer. There are nine Wineries and Vineyards that offer tastings and special events.
