Westcliff RV Park is located on Belton Lake, Belton Texas
From Killeen & Fort Hood, Texas: Take Hwy 190 East. Turn north onto Hwy 317 . Turn West onto Sparta Rd. Turn right on Westcliff Park Rd.
From I-35 in Belton, Texas: Take the 294 exit FM 93 west. Turn north onto 317. Turn west on FM 439 . Turn right on Sparta Road and then right on Westcliff Park Road to the park.
There is a total of 31 campsites, with pull through RV and camper hookups water and 20-30-50 amp electrical services. A waste water dump station is also provided. Four of the sites are tent only primitive sites (no water or electric), however there are 27 sites that do allow full service tent facilities.
For added security the park provides a full time gate attendant.
Campers also have access to restrooms with showers, a two lane boat ramp, public beach, and playgrounds. Many of the sites are near the water, and boaters can beach or anchor near their camp site.
The Campsite is open year round
Campsites 1-19 close December 1 and open March 1 annually.
Park hours are 6am to 10pm

Lake Belton is a 12,300 acre lake and was built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. They manage 11 parks and public boat ramps. The lake features beautiful rocky bluffs with scenic hill country surroundings. There are several marinas, where you can obtain fuel, groceries, tack and bait...
Lake Belton also attracts fishermen, fishing for Large Mouth, Small Mouth, Spotted, and Stripped Bass, Crappie, Trout and Catfish. I have included a link to fishing guide and notes.
Westcliff has been a favorite campsite for our family for several years. The only draw back is the the lack of shade for the campsites near the water.
We have anchored a tarp to the picnic pavilion to provide shade. The benefits of having the lake at your step, allows the the family to cool off in the water, pull the boat up on the beach, and toss in a fishing line far out weigh the lack of shade.

Thank you. It is a great place to hang out with family and friends. Not too crowed, lake levels are slightly lower than last year. They received more rain in that area than the rest of us in Texas.

Lake Belton looks like a refreshing spot to spend some vacation time especially this year of 2011 when so much of Texas is experiencing a drought. I'll bet it is packed in the summertime!
